You can easily create a Fermacell floor with Fermacell 2e11 floor plates. This Fermacell floor plate is composed of 2 layers of 10mm gypsum fiber. You simply place the plate on a wooden or concrete screed. Due to the thickness of the gypsum fiber on the floor plate, it is not possible to install underfloor heating. If you already have existing underfloor heating, this floor plate is suitable as sound insulation. However, keep in mind, the thicker the floor plate (with insulation), the longer it will take for your floor to warm up.
